Vascorp Launches Virtual Assistant Division
June 29, 2004 -- Today Vascorp Network Solutions formally launched Vascorp VA Services, a new
division targeted toward helping small business owners and entrepreneurs manage their
administrative and creative tasks by outsourcing to a Virtual Assistant. The division launch
coincides with the launch of the corporate website at http://www.vascorp.com/va.
Virtual Assistant’s don't require office space or equipment. They work virtually from their own office,
but provide the same services as on-site administrative assistants, office managers, or executive
assistants, often at a fraction of the cost of hiring a full-time assistant.
Under the leadership of Deborah Carraro, Vascorp VA Services offers virtual administrative, marketing and
creative services to small and medium-sized businesses, home-based businesses, coaches, consultants, real
estate agents and individuals. Technical support, hardware and software sales and network design services
are provided through the Vascorp Network Solutions division.
About Vascorp VA Services
Miss Carraro offered Virtual Support to clients before the emergence of the virtual work movement. An
independent contractor offering database maintenance, typing and editing and desktop publishing services,
Miss Carraro established her practice in 1991 as a source of additional income while pursuing her Bachelor
of Music degree.
In 1994, Miss Carraro formally entered the workplace but continued to offer contract services in her spare
time. Her services grew to include bookkeeping and database design, as well as services in the emerging
field of web design.
With the birth of the Virtual Assistance industry in 1999, Miss Carraro began operating as Virtual
Assistance Services Corporation and in the fall of 2000, she merged her business with Steve Vassos, an
MCSE and network engineer, and together they formed Vascorp Network Solutions Inc.
