New Komodo Dragons Website Launched

Vascorp Network Solutions, a leading web designer and e-business solutions provider, has designed and launched a new website for the Komodo Divas dragonboat teams.

Set to re-launch today (May 29, 2003) with a sleek corporate new look, enhanced features and navigation, the site reinforces the branding created to coincide with the name change of the ladies' team to the Komodo Divas.

"I felt it was necessary to establish a website that had a different look and feel from the Komodo Dragons Mixed team site," comments Deborah Carraro, the Vascorp designer behind the project. "From an administrative point of view, the team is being managed as a separate identity from the Mixed team. The website should reflect the change in strategic focus."

Return visitors to www.komododragons.ca/ladies will find the website more visually appealing and content rich. New features include sponsor profiles, race results and an enhanced picture gallery. Visitors will also have the ability to request notification of upcoming contests and fundraisers.

About The Komodo Dragons

Komodo Dragons is a community athletic team based in Toronto seeking corporate sponsorship in order to help defray the costs of training and participation in events. Their mixed Dragon boat crew consists of 20 paddlers, a Caller and Cox, paddling in races from 500m to 1000m. A full-time ladies crew races under the name Komodo Divas.

The Komodo Dragons are entering their fourth season. As a first year team, they captured the attention of the entire Dragon Boat community by placing within the top three boats in either Gold or Silver Division at almost every race entered. They continue to place strongly in their current season.
